PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

PRESENT PERFECT TENSE is used to explain the last activities, the last situation, etc.
Pattern in the Verb form : S + have/ has+ Verb III + O/ C.
I, You, They, We use HAVE and He, She, It use HAS.

Example :
(+) You have studied for a Year in SSECC COURSE.
(-) You have not studied for a Year in SSECC COUSE.
(+) Have You studied for a Year in SSECC COURSE ?

Yes, I have...
No, I have not (Haven't)...


(+) He has waited you for several years in this small town.
(-) He has not waited you for several years in this small town.
(?) Has He waited you for several years in this small town ?

Yes, He has...
No, He has not (hasn't)...

Pattern in the Non Verb Form :
S + have/ Has + been + Non Verb (Adjective, Adverb, Noun) + O/ C.

Example :

(
+) They have been happy for a thousand days in their New Home.
(-) They have not been happy for a thousand days in their New Home.
(?) Have They been happy for a thousand days in their New Home ?

Yes, They have been...
No, They have not been...

(+) She has been a Doctor since 1999.
(-) She has not been a Doctor since 1999.
(?) Has She been a Doctor since 1999 ?

Yes, She has been...
No, She has not been...
